Ben Lees recovered compensation for David due to the failure to obtain informed consent to implant treatment and for substandard treatment in fitting of the implant, which was placed at an angle and caused David significant pain.

The General Dental Council had been involved and the dentist in question had undergone a disciplinary hearing.

The Claim was settled out of Court and David was awarded £17,000.
