Rebecca Callard, Associate in the Dental Negligence team, acted for Jason who was left with a fractured K-File in his tooth following an emergency root canal treatment.

The NHS Trust performing the operation failed to inform Jason that the K-File had fractured and discharged him without offering to refer him for further medical assistance.

As a result, Jason suffered unnecessary and prolonged pain. The claim was settled out of court and Jason was awarded £2,500 in damages.
