£5,000 awarded for substandard dental implant treatment

Sophie Angwin, recently recovered £5,000 for a Claimant who received substandard implant treatment at the UL4 tooth. During the implant procedure, the Defendant dentist had not put the correct setting on the drill used to fit the implant, which meant that the implant was drilled too deep into the Claimant’s jaw bone.

The Claimant had to have a further dental procedure to reposition the implant. Fortunately the subsequent procedure was successful in re-positioning the implant and the compensation obtained was to reflect the Claimant’s pain and suffering in having to undergo this further and avoidable procedure.
