Naomi Todd acted for a man who received negligent dental treatment when he visited the dentist for treatment to a cracked tooth in October 2009.

On review, the dentist agreed that the tooth was indeed cracked and would need to be extracted. An appointment was made for the procedure to be carried out two days later. When he returned to the surgery he was seen by a second dentist who carried out the extraction.

Following the surgery he could still feel the cracked tooth and on inspection realised that the wrong tooth had been taken out. Although the dentist initially denied making any mistake, the Defendant eventually admitted liability.

The claim was settled out of court and the Claimant was awarded £9,250.
