£12,000 awarded for substandard crowns

Samantha Swaby acted for a 63 year old woman, who received £12,000 following the placement of substandard crowns. Our client had been a regular attender to the dentist and had crowns on her LL7 and LR7.

The Defendant dentist retired and our client was made aware that there was an infection on her LL7, which should have been treated prior to crowning. Our client was also made aware that the crown on her LR7 had been poorly fitted.

The client had to undergo the extraction of her LL7 and it was likely that her LR7 may require a new crown or could be lost in the future.
