Samantha Swaby, acted for a client who was awarded £12,000 as a result of undiagnosed periodontal disease. The client had been a regular attender to her dentist for the last four years and in this time, her dentist failed to diagnose and treat periodontal disease.

The client would lose her LR6 and suffered periodontal destruction to her UR467 and LR7 and would require increased periodontal monitoring and maintenance beyond which would have been required in any event.
