Samantha Swaby acted for a client who recieved £7,250 following the fitting of substandard veneers. C suffered bleeidng gums and when he attended another denitst he was informed that the upper veneers were very subgingival and had rough profiles. A radiograph was taken showing mild bone loss. There was marginal inflammation around the lower anterior and upper veneers and generalised plaque.
C was advised that if the upper veneers were not resolved then he would need crown lengthening. C would need new upper veneers as a result of the substandard dental treatment he received.
